TREASURE WITHIN Testimonials
Here's what schools are saying about Rise Theatre's 'Treasure Within' Day:
Autumn 2026
St Teresa's Catholic Primary School and Nursery, Harrow
We were delighted to welcome RISE Theatre back to St Teresa’s for their new Treasure Within day, having previously enjoyed their fantastic God’s Planet production two years ago.
Once again, the children absolutely loved the experience! Treasure Within was engaging, energetic and great fun and the children particularly enjoyed the creative use of music, role-play, drama and magic throughout the day. What impressed us most was the way important messages and key principles were woven so naturally into an interactive theatrical experience. The children were not simply watching a performance; they were actively involved in the learning.
Having experienced both God’s Planet and now Treasure Within, we have seen first-hand how RISE Theatre combines faith, creativity and high-quality performance to inspire children. Their productions are a wonderful way to enrich the Catholic life and curriculum of our school and we would have no hesitation in welcoming them back again. A huge thank you to the RISE Theatre team for another inspiring and memorable day
St Teresa's Catholic Primary School, Morden, London
Rise Theatre is an exceptional and memorable way to educate children about aspects of the Christian and Catholic faith. Our day was full of meaningful, lifelong learning that related to our school mission of proving our love through our little deeds. The music and the actions were particularly powerful and unforgettable. We have incorporated them into our whole school weekly Gospel assembly missions and the whole school Catholic life and mission. The children and staff had fun engaging with the production as well as the learning and the soundtracks, shared after the event, are helping us to further explore how we can make our love real. I highly recommend welcoming Rise theatre into your school to seek out the 7 treasures and unlock living Catholic Social Teaching on a whole new level.
Saint Thomas of Canterbury RC Primary School, Mitcham, London
[The Rise Theatre team] did a fantastic job of explaining and engaging the children. They made it fun when needed, interactive with plenty of visuals, props but also reflective when it suited the script. Great idea to add songs and sign language. The children were very happy about the day and I am sure everyone will remember today for a very long time. We will display our A3 diamonds somewhere in our school. Thank you very much RISE theatre! We are very grateful.

We had a wonderful visit from RISE Theatre Company! Through a range of engaging and thought-provoking activities, the children explored the importance of human dignity, rights and responsibilities. A particular highlight was learning about the ‘Superhero Saints’, whose lives and actions inspired the children to think about how they too can make a positive difference in the world!
Summer 2026
St Mary and John's, Erdington, Birmingham
We had a truly fantastic day hosting Rise theatre company for their performance of Treasure Within. From start to finish, the energy was incredible, and both our KS1 and KS2 children were completely captivated. They absolutely loved watching the story unfold and enthusiastically joined in with all the songs!
Beyond the brilliant entertainment, the educational and spiritual impact was profound. The performance beautifully brought Catholic Social Teaching (CST) principles to life in a way that was completely accessible to the children. They didn't just learn the theory—they truly understood how these important values relate to their own everyday lives and choices.
The structure of the day was seamless. The children thoroughly enjoyed the dynamic mixture of the main performance and workshops in the hall, followed by the more intimate, reflective workshops back in the classrooms. It was a wonderful, enriching experience for the whole school community. Thank you, Rise!
