Don Bosco - ‘A Magic Saint!’ was commissioned to mark the Bi-Centenary of the birth of Don Bosco in 2015 and written by artistic director Charley Pinfold.

 

Synopsis

In this exciting short play by RISE Theatre, Don Bosco narrates the story of his fascinating life, sharing at first hand the difficulties of growing up in poverty in 19th century Italy and overcoming many obstacles to fulfil his dream. Ultimately, we see the life-changing impact of a man dedicated to helping thousands of abandoned and misunderstood young people and whose legacy still influences millions of people 200 years later.
